Common questions
Frequently asked questions
The questions that come up in almost every first conversation, answered without the sales language.
If your question is not here, send it to our sales desk — the list grows from what buyers actually ask.
Ordering and commercial terms
What is your minimum order quantity?
Bulk raw gum arabic and milled powder start at 100 kg, so a new customer can qualify us without committing to a full container. Finished private-label programmes are quoted per project, because the minimum depends on the formulation, the packaging format and the print run.
Which Incoterms do you quote?
FOB Port Klang is our standard term. CIF, CFR and DDP are quoted case by case once the destination port and routing are confirmed, and Ex Works is available on request.
How quickly do you respond to a quotation request?
Within 24 hours on working days, with pricing, lead time, packing detail and the documentation set that applies to your destination market.
What are your lead times?
Samples ship in about one week. Production runs approximately 45 days from a confirmed purchase order, depending on quantity, formulation, packaging and raw-material availability, plus ocean transit to your port.
Can I order a trial quantity before committing?
Yes. Bulk orders start at 100 kg for exactly that reason, and samples are supplied free of charge with courier costs agreed separately. We would rather you qualified us on a small order than took a large risk on a first purchase.
Product and specification
Which species of acacia do you supply?
Acacia senegal — the grade known in Sudan as Hashab — bought direct from origin in Sudan. Acacia seyal (Talha) is supplied on request. The species is stated on the quotation and on the specification, so there is no ambiguity about what arrives.
Can you mill to a specific mesh?
Yes. We mill our own cleaned raw material, so mesh is a specification we set rather than one we inherit from a third-party processor. 80 mesh is a standard grade and other sizes are milled to your specification — send us the particle size your process needs.
Is your gum arabic food grade?
Yes. It is supplied as food-grade material carrying additive code E414 / INS 414. Laboratory analysis is arranged through external laboratories recognised by the Malaysian Ministry of Health (KKM) when a lot report is required.
Do you supply a Certificate of Analysis?
Analysis is arranged through an accredited external laboratory on request; we do not issue one automatically with every lot. Tell us which parameters your incoming specification requires and the testing scope is confirmed with the quotation.
Is the product non-GMO and allergen-free?
Gum arabic is a natural tree exudate with no gluten, no alcohol and no animal-derived inputs. We do not yet hold certified vegan, gluten-free, allergen-free or non-GMO documentation, so we describe the material rather than issue claims we cannot evidence.
Shipping, documentation and compliance
What documentation travels with a shipment?
Certificate of Origin, commercial invoice and packing list as standard, with a health certificate on request. A laboratory analysis is arranged through an accredited external laboratory where your specification calls for one. Phytosanitary certification is confirmed per product and destination.
Do you have halal certification?
Not yet. The factory does not currently hold JAKIM MS1500 halal certification, and we will not imply otherwise. The material itself is plant-derived with no alcohol or animal-derived processing aids. Tell us your destination market and we will confirm exactly which documents we can supply today.
Can you handle Arabic labelling?
Yes, and we recommend building it into the artwork at origin rather than applying stickers after arrival. Arabic labelling is mandatory for retail products across the GCC.
Which port do you ship from?
Port Klang, Malaysia. Transit time varies by destination and shipping line — our export team can provide an estimated timeline for your destination.
Do you ship outside the Gulf?
Yes. Port Klang serves every route. Our first export programmes are focused on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, followed by the wider Gulf, the United States and Europe.
Private label and custom manufacturing
Do you offer private label manufacturing?
The factory is equipped for it, and formulation development, artwork support and printed-packaging sourcing are available now. Private-label programmes are not yet offered as a commercial service, so bring us the project and we will confirm timing and the minimum quantity for it.
Can you develop a custom formulation?
Yes. Our team develops the formulation — fibre load, probiotic strains and counts, vitamin and mineral fortification, flavour system — and you receive the full ingredient declaration before anything is manufactured.
What formats can you fill?
Stick sachets, retail cartons and stand-up pouches. The standard finished format is a carton of 20 × 15 g sticks; alternatives are available for OEM programmes.
Who owns the formulation you develop for me?
That is agreed in writing before development starts. We would rather have that conversation at the beginning than discover a difference of expectation after launch.
How many sample rounds do I get?
As many as the product needs. Nothing is scheduled for production until you have approved a pre-production sample in writing.
Still deciding?
Send us the application and the volume you are planning for. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right supplier for it.
